Welcome to M.V.M College
With the blessings of Pujya Shree Jalarambapa and Sadguru Shree Ranchhodasjibapu,Matushri Virbaima Mahila College has been established in year 1963 by Shree Jalaram Uchcha Kelavani Mandal, Rajkot, the oldest premier institute for women education in Saurashtra. To extend the horizon of knowledge, new steps were gradually taken considering the present demand of time, the college started D.C.S. course in year 1998, B.C.A. in year 1999, P.G.D.C.A in 2002 and in the year 2006 B.Com. and B.B.A. courses too were added. With this step college is renamed as "MVM College of Comm.,MGT., & I.T."With this first responsible step, we have climbed the peak in the field of education. More and more students are joining these different courses. At present there are about 1500 students gaining the knowledge from experienced and dedicated faculty members. Beliveing in continuous quality improvement, the college applied for NAAC(National Assesment and Accreditation Council) in the year 2006 and was assessed by their team in Feb 2007. The college was awarded 'B' grade,equivalent to five star by NAAC.
The full form of BCA is bachelor's in Computer Application. BCA is a 3-year undergraduate degree programme that focusses on knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development.
It's a unique curriculum to prepare young students for junior executive positions in various commercial, industrial and non-profit organizations. It also enables students to develop their managerial skills to meet the demands of the present time.
B.Com degree is structured to provide the students managerial skills in disciplines related to commerce. Also, by the end of the program, students gain an in-depth knowledge on core subjects like accounting, law, statistics, finance etc.
